Festival Charities

In previous years the event proceeds have been shared between two local charities: Music in Hospitals & Care, Elmbridge Community Link and Walton on Thames CC.

We are proud to once again be joining forces with these two amazing charities to bring you Waltfest 2022.

Music in Hospitals & Care is a charity that improves the health and wellbeing of children and adults through the healing power of live music. Every year, their professional musicians share live music with over 100,000 people from across the UK, who may not otherwise get to experience it. This includes those living with dementia, who have mental health problems, or who are seriously ill.

Walton-on-Thames CC aims to be one of the best local community cricket clubs in Surrey. We reach out and partner with local schools, organisations, charities and local businesses. We offer inclusive cricket participation and player development through specialist coaching and competitive cricket playing opportunities to all age groups, abilities and genders. https://www.waltononthamescc.co.uk

In 2017 alone, Music in Hospitals & Care were able to deliver 79 concerts to care homes, hospitals, hospices and special schools throughout Elmbridge, benefitting over 1,900 healthcare residents and patients. We’re thrilled to be supported by the Walton on Thames Beer Fest again this year, so that we can continue to spread joy through live music to healthcare centres in our local community.
